- -There were some expired wipes in the first aid kit. Please ensure that first aid supplies meet requirements.June 18, 2025 - expired wipes were observed in classroom first aid kit. New first aid kit in the office did not meet all requirements. Please ensure all classroom kits are stocked with supplies that are not expired and ensure all required supplies are available in the main first aid kit in the office.

- -Chemicals in the kitchen were not secured. Please add a lock to the chemical cupboard in the kitchen or move them out of reach

- -Illness logs were not being maintained. Please ensure illness logs are available and there are procedures in place for outbreak prevention and control.

- -There was a used cloth on the spray bottle in the Infant Room. Please ensure that cloths are only used once and then put into laundry. It is strongly recommended that there are bins for both clean and dirty cloths

- -There was a little brown table in the Toddler 2 Room that had loose/shaky legs. Please repair/replace.

- -Some sleeping mats were observed to have holes. Please ensure holes are sealed so that the mats are smooth and easy to clean. Mats that are more damaged should be replaced.

- Bleach was noted to be between 1000 ppm and 10000 ppm.At time of inspection, bleach that was high was reduced to a lower concentration.Please ensure that all staff have access to test strips and that bleach is checked when made and regularly. Bleach concentration should be 100 ppm for food contact surfaces and 1000 ppm during outbreaks or increased illness.

- Infant room (rear): Bleach bottle was noted to be at 0 ppm.Bleach disinfectant was corrected and was measured to be 1000 ppm. Please ensure diapering bleach disinfectant is made daily and checked with test strip. Diapering disinfectant is required to be a minimum of 100 ppm but is recommended to be 500 ppm.

- Infant room: Infant sill was noted to have peeling paint. Please monitor and repair if further peeling is noted.Preschool room: Yellow kitchen shelf was peeling and required refinishing to be in good repair and able to be easily cleaned.Area carpets required to be deep cleaned regularly (carpet cleaning). Please ensure that carpets are vacuumed daily and when soiled and deep cleaned on a routine schedule and documented.

- Sleeping mats were observed set up with children napping at the time of inspection.At the time of inspection, the sleeping mats were observed to be close together. Staff moved the sleeping mats to be spaced further apart.Please ensure that sleeping mats are spaced to allow for infection control. It is strongly recommended that mats are at least 60 cm apart.
