    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • There was no soap at the handwashing sink.Handwashing sink must be stocked with soap, paper towels supplies.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • Some first aid supplies are expired.Please purchase the new first aid supplies that are expired.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • During the inspections, it was observed that the leather bench was torn. Wooden surfacing of some toy shelves were peeled off. There was a hole in the washroom wall just behind the washroom door.The staff was advised to either discard the ripped items or repair the damages, so that the facility could be maintained in cleaned and sanitary condition.Every hard surface must be smooth, easy to clean and disinfect.Damaged shelving can be covered with durable plastic liner, so that it is easy to clean.

      • Toy containers had dust and debris.Facility must ensure that the toy containers are wiped clean from inside as well.
    • 27. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The rice was mixed in the sand table. When mixing edible things (rice) in sand, these items need to be disposed of after a week as it is higher risk for contamination. It could harbor pests.
