      • Facility-specific written steps were not developed in case of accidental injury when providing a pedicure. A procedure is required to be developed, and staff must be trained according to that procedure. Ensure that a procedure is developed and reviewed with the inspector.
    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • A reusable towel was used to dry reusable equipment after cleaning and disinfection in a high-level disinfectant. A reusable towel should not be used as it is a source of cross-contamination between contaminated, and disinfected equipment. Disinfected equipment must follow the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions on how to dry and rinse, if applicable.
