- Corrected: the particleboard has been removed. The wall in the washroom is still in disrepair and requires resurfacing.1. a piece of absorbent particleboard is beneath the coffee makers and cannot be properly cleaned and sanitized. 2. A wall has been removed in the washroom area leaving exposed studs and there is loose wallpaper exposing drywall beneath. Walls in the washroom must be smooth, non-absorbent and easily cleanable. Have the edge of the wall surfaced with a washable material.

- No sanitizer was present for use on food contact surfaces. An approved sanitizer with appropriate test strips is necessary to properly sanitize all food contact surfaces and washing/sanitizing stand in place equipment.

- There is only a single sink in the facility for dishwashing and no sanitizer solution. At a minimum a two-compartment sink is required to wash, rinse and sanitize the scoops and milkshake utensils/equipment. This type of sink can be used for hand washing as well, based on the level of food handling. A sanitizing step is required after washing and rinsing to reduce microbial loads to safe levels.
