   • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
     • ***Turnover = 6974gal/303gpm = 23 minutes. A whirlpool with volume greater than 4 cubic meters shall maintain turnover within 20 minutes.To achieve the 20 minutes turnover, a minimum flow rate of 349gpm is required. However, the current sand filter is rated for a max flow rate of 337.5gpm, suggesting that it cannot handle the required flow rate to achieve the regulatory turnover. A bigger sand filter is required. The operator is aware of the deficiency and stated that a new sand filter will be installed during the planned renovations this summer of 2023.- Filtration rate = 303gpm/22.5 sq.ft = 13.5gpm/sq.ft.
