- 12. Are personal services workers at the facility maintaining client records and where applicable, sterility documentation corresponding to that client?
- Sterility assurance documentation for sterile blades used for dermaplaning were not being kept with client records.Please ensure the lot number, expiry date, and manufacture of each sterile blade is being kept with the clients consent form or records to allow for trace back.

- Semi-critical reusable equipment such as comedone extractors were not being cleaned with a cleaning tool beforehand. Please acquire a cleaning tool like a brush, sponge, or cloth to effectively clean the reusable equipment before disinfecting.

- 1. No testing strips for high level disinfectants were onsite at the time of inspection. A receipt for new testing strips was provided but the shipment had yet to arrive. Please make sure testing strips are available to ensure reused high-level disinfectants are still effective. In the meantime, please discard of the high-level disinfectant after every use.2. Testing logs for high level disinfectants were onsite but not filled out during the time of inspection. Please keep daily records of high-level disinfectant test, as well as when the disinfectant is changed.

Owner showed a receipt for new disinfectant recently ordered but shipment has yet to arrive Please discard of and replace the expired disinfectant with disinfectants that are not expired. If none is onsite, please purchase new disinfectants that are not expired.Status: outstanding
