- Observed dark discoloration on the North wall and ceiling in the pool room. Water staining observed on hanging rod for the mechanical ventilation system.Building materials that have been wet/water damaged for an extended period (>48 hours) or shows evidence of mould, rot or deterioration should be removed. Contract a qualified consultant to fully investigate & assess the area(s), including hidden cavities & surfaces, for signs of water damage & mould. The consultant shall ensure & document any mould remediation work completed.Please note that remediation activities may reveal more extensive problem & increase the scope of work/level of remediation & the precautions needed. Mould remediation consisting of treatment only with a biocide or disinfectant (ie. bleach) is not acceptable. The presence of any mould, whether alive or dead, on visible surfaces or hidden in cavities presents an unacceptable situation requiring remediation by mould removal & surface cleaning. Testing results & report should be reviewed prior to any construction or remediation work.**Please ensure that construction or remediation does not occur until a qualified consultant completes a risk assessment to determine the scope of work required & level of preventative measures required. Construction activities in a Supportive Living Facility should be completed in accordance with CSA Z317.13:22.December 4 - Please forward copy of results of mold testing to undersigned PHI.

- There is evidence of staining and debris build up throughout the aquatics area including flooring and drains around the basin. Tile grout powder observed on pool deck next to pool on the North East corner of the pool deck. October 6, 2023 Grout on the North side of the pool deck is still present. Remove excess grout.Gaps between pool basin and tile observed and cracks in pool deck. Ensure pool deck is maintained in good repair and in a condition that allows it to be easily cleaned.

- On deck shower temperature 30.4C. Adjust shower temperature to range outlined in the Alberta Pool Standards (a minimum of 35 C. Subject to section 2.8, every shower must provide water at a temperature of not less than 35 degrees Celsius and not greater than 45 degrees Celsius.
