- Observation: No active sanitizer available on-site. (Public Health Significance) Sanitizing solutions must be strong enough to destroy microbes on surfaces to prevent the contamination that may lead to illness.
- Corrective Action: Operator to ensure sanitizing solutions are availabble and maintain at an effective concentration (100 ppm unscented bleach or 200 ppm QUAT) when premises is rented for food events.
- 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Pipe underneath handwashing sink is leaking and excess water is being collect in a bucket. (Public Health Significance) Premise equipment should be maintain to minimize risk of attracting pest and mould growth.
- Corrective Action: Operator to repair leaking sink prior to renting kitchen out for public events.
