- Observation: Food debris are noted on meat slicer and dough mixer. Floor is sticky to walk on. Dirty equipment may contaminate food and increase the risk of illness.
- Corrective Action: Operator to re-clean meat slicer, dough mixer and kitchen floor.
- 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
- Observation: Light cover is cracked and at risk of falling. Light cover may fall and contaminate food products being processd in the kitchen.
- Corrective Action: Repair or replace light cover. Light cover is required to ensure light bulb does not contaminate food in case it shatters.
- 312 - Items not required for food premises operation being stored on the premises [s. 18]
- Observation: Equipment and items not in use are sitting in the kitchen area. Excessive cluttering may increase harborate area for contamination and provide area for pest activity.
- Corrective Action: Operator to remove all items that are not required for food premises.
