      • There were some expired alcohol wipes in the first aid kit in the toddler 2 room.The operator removed and discarded the wipes immediately and there were updated alcohol wipes available in the first aid kit at the time.

    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • - No child CPR face shield was available in the first aid kit.*Staff will purchase CPR face shields.**A CPR face shield is required because it helps ensure proper protection when performing CPR on a child, minimizing the risk of infection and contamination.
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • - A two-compartment sink was being used as a hand-washing station, with the right side designated for hand washing after diapering and the left side for rinsing baby bottles before sending them to be washed and sanitized in the kitchen. Used baby bottles were observed in the sink.*Staff removed the bottles from the sink and sent them to the kitchen for sanitizing.**Do not keep water bottles in the compartment adjacent to designated for hand washing, as there are chances of water splashing and cross contamination. Ensure regular cleaning and sanitization of all areas, including the taps.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • - One pink wooden woven baby crib was in Room #6. The crib was in disrepair and was being used as play equipment.*Staff discarded the crib.**Ensure that all equipment in the facility must be able to be properly cleaned and disinfected.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • - The lid of the diaper/garbage bin in the infant room was observed to be open.*Staff closed the lid.**Ensure the lid is kept closed at all times when not discarding anything. Staff should also ensure to wash hands after touching the bin lid each time, or consider replacing the bin with one that has a self-closing mechanism.

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Washed fabric feeding bibs were placed on a hanger to dry in the little bunny and gentle panda classroom. Water was dripping on the floor in the gentle panda classroom. The bibs were moved to the laundry room at the time of inspection. Wet floors increase the risk of slips and falls. Please launder clothing away from the classrooms. Utilize the laundry room for washing and drying the feeding bibs.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Bingo dabbers that are unsafe for children's use were observed in the gentle panda room.The bingo dabbers were discarded during inspection. Please obtain a safe alternative for children's use. 2. Crayola kid's washable paint that is unsafe for children below 3 years was observed on a shelf in the little bunny room. The washable paint was discarded during inspection. Please obtain a safe alternative for children's use.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The surface of the diapering table in the little bunny classroom was chipped in many areas.Please refinish the surface of the diapering table. Ensure the table surface is smooth, impervious to moisture and easy to clean.
