    • 02. Is the bacteriological quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
      • The water sample collected on July 29, 2025 had these results: - Total Coliforms - Absent - Pseudomonas - ISOLATED - HPC <10 CFU/mLThis is an unsatisfactory result. The whirlpool needs to be closed immediately and follow the Pseudomonas response protocols.Once the protocols are completed and the whirlpool water chemistry is re-balanced, you can re-open to the public.Resample on Tuesday next week. This was discussed with the operator.

      • The water sample collected on March 19, 2024 had the following results: - Total Coliforms - PRESENT - Pseudomonas - Not Isolated - HPC <10 CFU/mLThis is an Unsatisfactory result.Operator started a shock chlorination of the whirlpool at noon on March 22, when this result for Total Coliforms became known. The results for Pseudomonas and HPC became known later on March 22 around 4:00 pm.As the whirlpool had been shocked for more than 4 hours by this time, the PHI instructed the operator that once the Free Chlorine level is at or less than 5.0 ppm and the other water chemistry parameters are balanced - the whirlpool can be re-opened to the public.Re-sampling of the whirlpool water for bacteria will occur on March 26, 2024.
