      • 1. The paint on the toilet seat cover and toilet seat in the toddler room washroom is peeling, and the surface is no longer smooth. Please repair or replace these items to ensure the surfaces are smooth and easily cleanable.2. The side of the hand sink cabinet is in disrepair, exposing porous material. Please repair to ensure the surface is smooth, intact, and cleanable.

    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • In the toddler room, the bedding cabinet door did not close properly. This is a hazard as the children's fingers can get caught between the doors. Please ensure the bedding cabinet is organized properly to ensure the door gets closed. Violation corrected onsite.

      • Items such as baby wipes, gloves, clean paper towel etc. were stored on top of the diapering mat in the toddler room. Please ensure the dedicated diapering space is used for diapering only.

      • Hard to reach areas of the toddler room were cluttered (corners by the bedding cabinet, storage spaces behind cabinets) and dirty (below the play mat). Please declutter and ensure the room is cleaned/ sanitized thoroughly.

      • Used gloves were stored on top of a diapering mat in the toddler room. Please discard gloves immediately after use.

      • A fern plant pot is placed on the washroom partition wall in the main level classroom. The fronds are long, and children can pull them. This can potentially be a hazard. Please relocate the pot to a safer location.

      • 1. Chlorine test strip was not available to test the concentration of the bleach solution. Please obtain chlorine test strips.

      • Children's beddings are stored in individual bags. Some bags are small and thus the beddings are exposed out of the bags. Please ensure the beddings are not exposed outside of the bag.

      • 1. The disinfectant spray (bleach solution) in both classrooms were less than 100 ppm. Please ensure the bleach solution is at least 100 ppm.
