      • 1. Pushpins were noted to be used on walls and boards in all the rooms in the facility.**Remove all push pins in the facility as these can cause injury if ingested by a child**Use safer alternatives to hang crafts and papers such as hooks, pegs or tape.2. One of the storage shelves which is over 5 feet high in the pre-K1 room was not anchored to the wall and poses a tipping hazard.**Secure shelving to the wall to prevent injury.3. The bleach spray bottle in the pre-K1 room was not labeled.**Ensure all chemicals used in the facility are clearly labeled to identify contents.

      • The floor surfacing of the men and women’s washroom was wearing out, the paint was chipping off in various areas, floor did not appear smooth, making it hard to clean.**Please refinish floor surfacing.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • 1. Alcohol swabs in some of the first aid kit were expired.2. The first aid kit in the kinder room was missing a CPR barrier mask**Replace supplies

      • Some food items were stored directly next to chemicals in the first aid cabinet in the kinder room.**Store food items separate from chemicals to prevent contamination of food.

      • A Roll of paper towel was stored directly on the countertop in the washroom in the pre-K1 room.**Store paper towel in a manner that protects it from potential contamination, such as in a dispenser or paper towel holder.

      • Temperature in the washroom faucet was measured at 55.1C. Instruct the church to lower the temperature of the hot water tank or install mixing valves at sinks accessible to children.
