      • Diapering area had crumbs, lint and used wipe in the area. Ensure that the diapering area is cleaned after using.

    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • One prepared sanitizer container in the washroom for toddlers was unlabelled to identify its contents. Corrected onsite. Ensure all chemical bottles or containers are labeled to identify its use.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Diaper station for infant room is elevated on countertop curbed with a 6 inch solid safety rail but does not have restraining device (ie. safety straps) to secure child. Install a safety strap for diaper station to secure child in-place while diapering.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • First aid kit in travel bags were missing barrier device for cpr. Corrected onsite. Ensure bags meets CSA Standard Z1220-17Type 2 Basic Medium First Aid Kit
    • 27. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Observed ants indoors in 2 areas (utility room & BAC room). Ants in BAC room were found near baseboard near exit door (east facing exterior wall). Identify and seal off any potential entry points and apply pest control measures to treat and remove ants.

      • First aid kits missing cpr mask.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • Preschool room and toddler room are missing black out blinds/curtains on the hallway windows and the current currents in there are see through. Install curtains.
