      • The surface on some of the small wood tables is worn which can make it difficult to effectively clean. The operator currently has the new tables in stock.**Updated April 1st, 2026: Some table surfaces were still worn. Facility was ordered new tables and is waiting for delivery.May 6, 2026: The tables for the 4-6 years old children were replaced. The operator is still in the process of replacing the 3-4 years old children's tables.

      • Thumb tacks were found on the corkboard in the specialty room.Please remove thumb tacks in all areas that children use as a play space.

      • Map boards in the harmony room were damaged on the corners making them difficult to clean.Please remove/repair the boards so the surface is smooth and easy to clean.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The surface of a wooden cart was worn down exposing the wood below making the item difficult to clean.Operator removed the cart from the daycare room during the inspection. Please repaint the cart if it is to be used in the childcare room again.

      • Kitchen was accessible through the main hallway. A child safety knob cover was installed during the inspection.
    • 11. Are parent provided foods being properly handled and stored to ensure the safety of clients in this social care facility?
      • The fridge located in the Harmony room read approximately 11-14 degrees C.The temperature log for the morning read 8 degrees C.The operator purchased a new fridge the same day to correct the violation.

      • The surface on some of the small wood tables is worn which can make it difficult to effectively clean.The operator currently has the new tables in stock.Covers are missing for some of the light fixtures located in the Harmony room. Light covers should be installed.
