- Personal food items were stored in the walk-in cooler and mixed with pre-packaged food available for sale to the public.-dedicate a shelving unit to store personal items/food, etc. -Ensure the food for public sale is separate from personal items.
- 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
- 1) Many items no associated to the food store are stored throughout the store.-remove any items that are not necessary or required to operate the Food Establishment, i.e. boxes, old equipment, etc.2) The store was very cluttered making it difficult to maintain a clean and sanitary food establishment. The walk-in cooler was very cluttered and unorganized. -organize the store and all food storage, such as the walk-in cooler.3) The walk-in cooler floor and shelves were dirty with debris. The store floor and shelves throughout the premises was dirty with dust/debris, etc.-clean the walk-in cooler and retail store space. These areas need to be cleaned on a regular/frequent basis to prevent the accumulation of dirt/dust/debris, etc
