      • Observation(s): Quat test strips required to test sanitizer bottles Approved sanitizer for food contact surfaces to be onsite at all times.
      • F2.1A Sanitizer test strips must be available for each chemical sanitizer used at the premises.
    • F2.3 Are food contact surfaces, utensils and equipment washed and sanitized in a manner that removes/prevents contamination?
      • Observation(s): Approved food grade sanitizers only permitted. Some spray bottles of comet were found to be used by staff. These are to be removed and Quat sanitizer of approved concentration from the kitchen dispenser is to be used. These bottles should be properly labelled and tested with Quat test strips. Final rinse at high temperature dishwasher after approx 8 cycles was 72c
    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
      • Observation(s): Extra cleaning required, area under ice well, behind coolers. Debris, rags etc found.
    • F2.7 Are there handwashing stations available and properly supplied?
      • Observation(s): • Hand wash sink is not to be used for dumping leftover drinks etc. This is the designated hand sink and to be accessible at all times • Hot water tap was broken so staff had the hot water turned off to the hand wash sink. This is to be fixed immediately.
      • F2.7A Handwashing station must be supplied with hot and cold running water.
      • F2.7E Handwashing stations must remain accessible at all times.

      • F2.1A Sanitizer test strips must be available for each chemical sanitizer used at the premises.
      • F2.1B A thermometer accurate within 1 °C must be available to monitor processes.
    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
      • Observation(s): Improve sanitation in the area. Remove cardboard, bags of plastics/bottles and other items not needed in the operation
    • F3.1 Does the operator have a valid operating permit or approval to operate?
      • Observation(s): Valid health permit is not posted for public viewing
      • F3.1A A valid permit to operate must be posted in a conspicuous location.

      • Observation(s): Premise approved to operate once permit fees are paid to validate the permit.
