Discussed outbreak control measures such as removing soft toys and furniture, double handwashing for any employees returning back to work after illness, sanitizing high touch areas frequently.

      • The diapering area is on the opposite side of the room from the hand wash sink. A diapering surface must be adjacent to separate and designated hand washing facilities.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • Sinks in the children's bathrooms that have 2 taps, not the motion sensor taps, have water temperatures above 54C. Either reduce the hot water temperature or install taps with mixing valves to ensure the maximum temperature does not exceed 54C.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • Sleeping mats are stored closely together with the bed sheets still on them. An alternative method of storage must be found to ensure that the sleeping linen's are kept separate.
