- Written procedures were not available for skin cleansing (waxing, pedicure, manicure) or accidental injuries. - 10. Is cleansing and antisepsis of skin and mucous membrane performed in accordance to written procedures and are suitable products being used?
- Discussed skin cleansing procedures. A skin cleansing step was not being done prior to facial waxing. Ensure operators are cleansing the skin prior to waxing. Makeup remover wipes and Satin Smooth skin cleansers were available onsite and could be used for this purpose.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Prempt CS20 high level disinfectant available for disinfecting reusable esthetic tools.
