- Personal Service Notification was submitted during the inspection.This violation was corrected during the inspection.

- Facility specific procedures were not available for skin cleansing and client care in case of accidental cuts and punctures.Templates for reference will be attached with this e-mail.

- After care sheet for clients after providing laser services were not available.Discussed the importance of providing the after care sheet.Post-service care following a service where energy-emitting equipment is used must follow the instructions that are specified by the manufacturer. Post-service care instructions may be provided on a printed handout or through electronic methods.

- During the inspection it was observed that the operator was not using High Level Disinfectant for disinfecting the semi-critical equipment like facial extractor and pedicure foot filers, clippers and cuticle pushers.Logs and teststrips for HLD were also not maintained.Discussed the HLD with the operator.Operator was verbally ordered to stop giving all the services that require semi-critical equipment.Please make sure to bring High Level Disinfectant before offering any service (involving semi-critical equipment) to clients.

- Sharps container was not available for safe disposal of sharp razors.Please make sure that sharps container is available for safe disposal of sharps.Sharps are considered biohazard and must be disposed of in appropriate manner.

- It was observed that few of the cosmetic products were either inadequately labelled or labelled in foreign language.Make sure that cosmetic products used in personal services must be labelled appropriately with ingredients that can be cross referenced with health Canada's list of prohibited ingredients.
