    • 08. Is hand hygiene performed by the personal services worker when required, in a proper manner and are provisions available to perform hand hygiene?
      • 1. No paper towel or handwashing soap available on site at any sinks including the bathroom. Ensure that all handwashing sinks are equipped with hot water, soap and paper towel at all times. 2. Operators did not perform handwashing step before or after service to customers.Ensure that handwashing is performed before and after offering a personal service.
    • 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
      • Wax sticks left in wax pot had visible hair and debris. Single use disposable products must be discarded after use.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. Barbicide was cloudy, and had a significant buildup of hair and debrisRinse combs and scissors before placing them in barbicide. Change barbicide at more regular intervals. 2. Barbicide receptacles were not filled to adequately cover the entirety of tools used. Review manufacturer's instructions and ensure that they are followed at all times.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • 1. Baseboards were visibly covered in hair. 2. Sink next to work station was filled with hair. 3. Workstations that were not in use were covered in hair. 1, 2, 3: Clean indicated areas4. Wax pot had significant build up of old wax, hair and debris. Side of wax pot had burnt old wax. Remove wax pot from facility.
