    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1) Manicure and pedicure tools were soaked in 70% alcohol to disinfect. Provide a high-level disinfectant with a DIN. Disinfect manicure and pedicure tools in high-level disinfectant 2) PREempt RTU was expired.Follow the manufacturer's instructions. 3) Waxing table paper roll cover was covered with wax and not disinfectant wipes were available to disinfect the table. Provide disinfectant spray or wipes for the waxing table. Tear up used paper table cover after each client.
    • 24. Are waste sharps disposed of properly?
      • Sharp disposal container was missing a cover. Fix or provide a new sharp disposal container.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • 1) Cracks on three pedicure chairs covers.Reupholster the pedicure chairs. 2) Processing sink, counter and drawer were dirty. clean processing area. 3) Wax and hair build-up on the shelves and light switch was cover with wax. Clean these areas.4) Clutter noted inside the cupboard under the processing sink. Remove the clutter.
