      • A non food grade disinfectant was being used as a sanitizer for food preparation surfaces.Ensure an approved sanitizer is used.       • Quat sanitizer in the second compartment sink measured approx 0ppm quat.Ensure the sanitizer concentration is verified after making the solution. It needs to be 200ppm quat if using a quat sanitizer or 100ppm chlorine if using bleach (chlorine test strips would be required if you use bleach).
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • No Quat test strips available. Ensure you have quat test strips as this is the sanitizer you are using for dishwashing. The quat sanitizer needs to be verified after it's made and it should be 200-400ppm.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
