      • Perishable pies were being stored without temperature control. Mechanical refrigeration was not initially available. Staff member said that the pies were from the previous day's service and were going to be discarded.A mechanical refrigerator was brought in. Ensure that cold perishable food is stored at 4 degrees Celsius or lower at all times. Note that camping style coolers are only permitted for events that don't exceed 4 hours in duration.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Open food handling (repackaging of pies) was taking place and only a temporary hand wash station was available.This event exceeds 3 days, so a hand wash sink plumbed into water and waste water is required for open food handling.
    • 23. Has appropriate notification been given for the special event?
      • This facility did not submit notification for their intent to attend this special event.Each booth must notify AHS Environmental Public Health in advance of events they plan to attend.
