      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Scoops for dry foods (flour, sugar) left in product for ongoing use. (Public Health Significance) Improper scoops and scoop storage exposes items to bare hand contact and potential contamination.
      • Corrective Action: Store scoops so that foods are not exposed to the handles or bare hand contact. Store food scoops in a sanitary manner and clean and sanitize them regularly.
    • 209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Bags used for take-out observed on floor in storage room . (Public Health significance) - Contamination from contact with objects, people, pests or chemicals can cross contaminate foods which can cause serious illness.
      • Corrective Action: Protect all foods and equipment/utensils that could come iin contact with food by storing at least 6 inches or 15 cm off the floor at all times.
