   • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
     • **Proper cleaning protocols for manicure tools were not followed prior to immersion in CS20. Specifically, tools were rinsed under tap water without the required soap scrubbing to remove organic matter. Additionally, tools were not dried before disinfection, posing a risk of diluting the CS20 solution and compromising its efficacy.These discrepancies were reviewed with the manager, who has been instructed to ensure all personnel are fully trained and compliant with the complete reprocessing workflow.
   • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
     • - 70% alcohol was being used on workstations and contact surfaces; however, the container lacked a Drug Identification Number (DIN).- Staff failed to clean and sanitize a workstation between manicure clients.The manager was instructed to ensure all contact surfaces are properly sanitized between every service. While Mr. Clean Disinfectant is available on-site, it requires a 10-minute contact time to be effective. The manager must ensure surfaces remain visibly wet for the full duration. If high client volume makes this 10-minute window impractical, the facility should switch to a disinfectant with a shorter required contact time.
