      • Observation: The sanitizer solution in use and dispensed is 200 ppm Chlorine. The spray bottles have QUAT sanitizer labels on them and are incorrect.
      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure all chemical and cleaning containers are properly labelled. If cleaning chemicals are to be discarded, discard cleaning chemicals into the sanitary/mop sink and rinse with lots of water. Take caution not to get chemicals on skin or hands.
      • Correction required today.

      • Observation: Ice machine has mildew on the inside
      • Corrective Action(s): All ice must be removed, the machine must be fully cleaned and sanitized with quats solution then allowed to refill with ice. Ensure this is on the sanitation schedule.

      • Observation: Mold, mildew or debris observed in the following locations.
      • -The ceiling on light fixtures in the walk in cooler
      • -all hood vent grates (there is dust and a large amount of grease build up)
      • Corrective Action(s): -Ensure these areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly. The vent grates should be done at least monthly

      • Corrective Action(s): Ensure hand washing occurs between tasks such as raw to ready to eat and also when tasting food directly from hands

      • Corrective Action(s): Scoop to be stored outside of machine in a bucket that is cleaned regulary to prevent contamination of ice by hands

      • Corrective Action(s): Food must be labelled and dated to help prevent food from sitting in cooler for too long

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Front hand sink blocked by cloths and cutlery
      • Corrective Action(s): All hands must be free of objects and equipped with soap and papertowels to allow for proper hand washing
      • Violation Score: 5
    • 212 - Operator has not provided acceptable written food handling procedures [s. 23]
      • Observation: Temperature logs must be maintained daily for all fridges, freezers, hot holding and cooking temperatures
      • Corrective Action(s): Fridge temp logs have not been maintained since October. This is an ongoing issue, enforcement action will be taken next time
