      • No - the PVC curtains at the two open display refrigeration units in the customer area have not been installed (and is necessary, so as to ensure proper cold-holding temperature of 4 degrees Celsius, or lower, is maintained at all times in the two open display refrigeration units).

    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • No - in the customer area, the two open display refrigeration units were at ambient air temperature range of 6 - 8 degrees Celsius, with no indication of mechanical equipment action to lower temperature to 4 degrees Celsius, or lower. Also, operator is to ensure each refrigeration unit is provided with a functional thermometer (as one thermometer was 'missing').The operator is to ensure adequate refrigeration temperatures at all times, and to contact a licensed technician to make repairs and/or add re-boost of refrigerant to these two refrigeration units. As was advised to operator on-site at time of inspection, if there is no change to refrigeration unit temperature within one hour (to 4 degrees Celsius, or lower), all perishable foods were to be removed to walk-in cooler storage.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • No - there was bar soap available and in use at the hand-wash sink in the small 'food prep' area. Note that only liquid soap and paper towels are to be used in a commercial business premises at hand-wash sinks, including for staff and public use.

      • ***Temperature control records and cleaning records not observed. Ensure food safety records are kept and records are kept as work is being done.Sept 12, 2023: Temperature was not observed during inspection. The observed cleaning checklist was not up to date. Please ensure daily temperature logs and routine cleaning checklist in maintained.
