    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) Several wall areas were in disrepair and require patching and/or painting:- Aspen room- behind the door know in the boys bathroom- in the hallway to the bathrooms- Kinder room- the window ledge in the OSC room (corrected May 19 2026)2) A ceiling tile was bowing down in the girls bathroom. Repair required.3) Some rubber floor seams were beginning to separate and lift in the OSC. Please repair.4) The green frame near the playground door was lifting.     • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) Used cleaning cloths were observed on the counter in several rooms. Please ensure that cleaning cloths are used once and place in a laundry basket.2) A light was hanging down at the back of the OSC. Repair required.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Primo brand bingo dabbers were observed in the Cedar room. Please remove these from use and only use art supplies that are non-toxic, safe for children and hold the AP symbol.

    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) Several wall areas were in disrepair and require patching and/or painting:- Aspen room- behind the door know in the boys bathroom- in the hallway to the bathrooms- Kinder room- the window ledge in the OSC room 2) A ceiling tile was bowing down in the girls bathroom.     • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) The water temperature at the left faucet in the boys washroom was too cold. Please ensure warm water is available.2) Two faucets in the OSC bathroom were not operational. One faucet was also spraying at high pressure. Please repair.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • ** Bleach solutions throughout the program were inadequately labelled. Please ensure bottles are labelled with their contents.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • ** Right bathroom- there was a hole in the wall under the light switch.** The shelf over the sink in the Maple room was not finished and requires painting so that the surface is smooth and easily cleanable.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • ** The change pad in the infant room was torn. Replacement required.** Change pad was torn in the Cedar room. Replacement required.** Stuffies with electronics were present in the baby room and throughout the program. Please remove from use as these items cannot be adequately cleaned.** A brown fabric toy bin in the Cedar room was observed and cannot be properly laundered or disinfected. Please find an alternate bin for toys ** A white woven bin was also present in the Cedar room but was observed to be dirty. Please remove from use.** The surface of the train table in the Cedar room was wearing and was no longer smooth and easily cleanable.** Elephant electronic plushy noted in the Cedar room. Please remove from use.** The fabric on the Ikea chair in the maple room was broken.** An electronic horse stuffy with fabric was observed in the Maple room. Please remove.** The brown carpet in the Oak room appeared dirty. Cleaning or replacement required.** The grey carpet in the Elm room was lifting creating a tripping hazard** Electronic plush doggy present in the OSC. Please remove as this item cannot be properly cleaned.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • ** Left bathroom - Left hand sink in toddler washroom had no hot water, approx. 9C** Water temperature was monitored at 14.7C at hand sink in the maple room which is too low.Staff washroom** Water temperature in the staff washroom was too low, monitored to be 23c** Water temperature in the Oak room was too low, monitored at 21.3c

      • ** The garbage in the infant room did not have a lid (broken). Please ensure a lid is available.** Garbage cover broken in the Cedar room. Please ensure garbage is covered.** A potty seat was observed on the floor in the left bathroom. Please ensure potty seats are stored in a sanitary manner.** Child safety lock in the baby room was not present. (Pipe cleaners were being used which are not properly cleanable).** pushpins and staples were observed in the infant and toddler rooms. Please refrain from using these items as they could be hazardous if they fall out of the wall into the room.** Equipment and items are being stored on the Pony walls and could fall into the rooms. Please refrain from using the wall ledges as storage.** Primo bingo dabbers were observed in the Cedar room. Please remove from use as these are not approved for children's use. Alternatives may be sought.

      • Throughout all rooms:- paint chipping on wallsOak Room:- Larger hole observed in one wallAll surfaces including walls must be maintained in good repair
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • - Re-usable cloths are being used to disinfect diapering mat after each child. The used cloths were observed on top of bleach bottles near the diapering station.- Diapering change mats were observed in disrepair and stained- Single-use paper towels must be used to disinfect diapering surfaces. Diapering mats must be non-porous and maintained in a clean and sanitary manner

      • Numerous toys and play equipment were observed in disrepair/broken.All play equipment must be maintained in good repair at all times.
