      • 1) Bleach bottles were not labelled with the contents. - Ensure that all bottles have labels identifying the contents.2) Used cleaning towels were stored directly on shelves.- In all rooms ensure to have a bin for dirty rags.

      • Bleach sanitizer concentration in preschool room was measured at over 1000ppm. - The operator remade the bleach sanitizer solution. Please ensure that the bleach sanitizer solution is checked each time using the test strips to ensure the concentration is correct.

      • There was a strong smell of Pyn Sol indicating that it was used in high concentration.Pyn Sol must be used according to manufactures instruction for use to prevent off gassing that may lead to nasal or eye irritation.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Wall shelf in the toddler washroom was in disrepair. The surface was worn out exposing raw wood.Resurface or replace the wall shelf.2. Toy shelf in the toddler room was covered with a plastic wrap that was secured with tape. Remove the tape from all surfaces to help with effective cleaning.3. Reusable wiping cloths are not being laundered after each use. A used wiping cloth was stored with on a disinfectant bottle in the preschool classroom.Reusable wiping cloths must be laundered after each use.

      • The cover of the water table in the preschool room was observed to be broken. Tape was used to secure the broken pieces together.Replace water table cover.
    • 23. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Critical)?
      • Mattress covered with a bed linen was placed in the book center as a relaxing area for children to read in the preschool classroom. Bed linens are not removed or cleaned in between use. Remove this set up and replace with an item that can be cleaned and disinfected between use.

      • Unsure if window in toddler room is shatterproof. Windows that are accessible and within 1m of the floor should have shatterproof film on the glass to prevent shattering if the window breaks.
