    • 101 - Plans/construction/alterations not in accordance with the Regulation [s. 3; s. 4]
      • Observation: The main kitchen is only equipped with a separate hand washing sink and a single sink in the dishwashing area. There are no separate sinks for food preparation and as such this kitchen was not designed for nor supplied with sufficient equipment for the safe & sanitary handling of food.
      • Corrective Action: In addition to the sinks that are present, a separate sink or sinks must be installed to facilitate food preparation (e.g., washing produce, thawing meats) and the plans for meeting this requirement must be submitted to and approved by an Environmental Health Officer.

      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Floor plans for the kitchens in this facility were not submitted for review and approval by an Environmental Health Officer prior to construction.
      • Corrective Action: Plans must be submitted to an Environmental Health Officer for any future construction or alterations to the North, south or main kitchens.
