- Observation: The scoop was observed left inside the ice machine for ongoing use. (Public Health Significance): Improper scoop storage exposes items to bare-hand contact and increases the risk of contamination.
- Corrective Action: The scoop must be stored properly so that foods (including ice) are not exposed to the handle or to bare-hand contact. Scoops must be kept in a clean, designated container or food-grade holder when not in use to prevent potential contamination from other objects or surfaces.

- Observation: The interior of the ice machine was observed to have mold and dirt buildup in the corners, indicating that it requires immediate cleaning. - Corrective Action: The ice machine must be thoroughly cleaned and routinely checked for any signs of dirt or mold contamination. The ice machine will be re-inspected during the next follow-up visit.

- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Observed a milk carton past the best before date in the walkin cooler. Best before dates indicate the potential shelf life of the food products. If food products not stored under appropriate conditions, there is a potential for the growth of spoilage organisms past the best before date
- Corrective Action: The employee immediately discarded the food product past the best before date. Operator to follow first in first out method while storing food items and discard the food products past the best before date

- Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Scoop handle used for ice machine was seen touching the ice.
- Corrective Action: The employee placed the scoop into its designated holder inside the ice machine. The operator must ensrue this does not happen again.
