      • 1. Room 1: Craft materials including glitter bottles labelled ages 5+, bingo dabbers with no labels, and glitter were noted in the cabinets.These items are not safe or appropriate for the age group.The items were discarded during inspection. Please ensure craft materials have proper labels and are age appropriate for the age group.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • 1. Room 1: The staff hand sink used after diapering children is also being used to rinse off dishes and utensils. There is a risk of cross contamination.Please either use the hand sink as a designated handwashing sink and rinse off utensils inside the kitchen or implement a schedule so the hand sink basin will be sanitized on a frequent basis.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. The thermometer for the commercial dishwasher is missing.Please purchase a new dishwasher safe thermometer.2. The chlorine/bleach concentration for some of the sanitizer bottles measured approx. 250 ppm. Please purchase measuring cups so the bleach and water can be measured out accurately.

      • Room 2: Bleach spray bottle in the washroom was within children's reach. - Removed immediately. - Store chemicals out of children's reach.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Some children's beddings between napping cots were sticking out and touching other children's bedding. A staff personal handbag was stored on top of children's cots touching beddings. - Store personal items adequately separated from each other to prevent cross-contamination.
