- 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
- Dishwashing area is not maintained clean. Chemicals not associated with dishwashing are stored in this area. Dishwashing procedures are discussed with owner and employees. Owner indicated that dishes are washed with bleach while the employee indicated that dishes are washed with soap in the hand wash sink. Operator is advised to dedicate hand washing sink for hand washing only and wash the dishes in dish washing sink. Operator is also advised to follow proper dish washing procedures.
- 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
- Hand wash sink in the washroom is not provided with soap. Soap dispenser is observed empty. Operator provided soap at the time of inspection.
- 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
- Some materials are stored on floor in backside storage area. Operator is advised to store all materials on shelves at least 8 inches above floor and ensure floor under the shelves can be maintained clean and monitored to insect/ insect infestation.
