      • -Stained ceiling tiles were observed in the Baby Room, OSC Room and Pre-school Room. Please investigate the source of water and address. Ensure all damaged ceiling tiles are replaced.

      • -The fridge in the in the Baby Room was at 10C and the one in the Toddler was at 9C. Please ensure refrigerators are maintained at 4C or less.Sept 25, 2025 - The fridge in the Toddler Room was at 3C but the fridge in the Baby Room was still at 10C. There was no food stored in the Baby Room fridge

      • -The diapering mat in the Toddler Room was torn. Please repair/replace.

      • -The lego table in the OSC Room was visibly unclean. Please clean.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • -The sand table in the Older Pre-school Room did not have a lid. Please ensure the table has a lid and it is covered when not in use.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • -Sinks in the Older Pre-school Room and OSC did not have hot water. Please ensure both hot and cold water are available at sinks

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • - There were exit doors in the Pre-school and OSC Room that lead directly outdoors. Please ensure that there are safety measures put in place to prevent children from exiting through the doors unannounced.
    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • -Please keep the toilet brush out of children’s reach-There were missing electrical outlet plug covers in the Pre-school Room. Ensure protective covers are in place.- There were several staples in the wall that were not attached to anything. Please remove all unused staples. Both staples and tacks are not recommended; other options are tape, sticky tac, Velcro etc. Staples could also be covered with tape.-Please ensure the door to the storage room in the OSC is kept locked.
    • 05. Are communicable diseases at this facility being properly managed?
      • -Illnesses were not being recorded when children stay home ill. Ensure illness is recorded for both children and staff who are sent home and those who stay home. Outbreaks need to be reported for any cases of illness, not just when there are children/staff who were ill on-site.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • - The Pre-school Room had peeling baseboards and lifting floor covering. There were also peeling baseboards in the Toddler Room. Please address.- There was tape on the Toddler diaper table that was peeling. Please address.- Caulking was in disrepair and the wall behind the sink in the Toddler Room was peeling. Please address.- There was a stained ceiling tile in the Older Pre-school Room. Please replace.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • -Washroom ceiling fans were visibly unclean. Please clean.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • - Re-useable dishes were being used. This facility has not been approved to serve food and therefore cannot wash dishes. Please remove all dishes.
