      • The disinfectant PREempt CS20 was not tested for effectiveness using test strips, and the available test strips were found to be expired (EXP: 04/30/2024). The operator was instructed to test the disinfectant using valid test strips, and a documentation log was provided by the PHI both onsite and via email.
    • 24. Are waste sharps disposed of properly?
      • Used sharps were observed stored in a Clorox wipes container near the reprocessing sink. The operator was instructed to obtain suitable puncture-resistant container for the proper disposal of sharps.

      • Several nail polishes were identified without ingredient lists or manufacturer instructions.All cosmetic products must be clearly labeled with a complete list of ingredients and appropriate usage guidelines.
