- Written procedures for handwashing and equipment reprocessing sink decontamination was updated at the time of inspection.Ensure written procedures are updated as needed. Personal service workers must know where these written procedures are kept. Written procedures must be presented to a PHI upon request.

- The comedone loops with "piercing tips" are considered to be critical equipment that must be discarded after each use or sterilized using steam as its sterilant. The tools were removed from the facility upon request.

- A high-level disinfectant is required to disinfect semi-critical tools (i.e. eyelash extension tweezers, comedone loop, wart removal tips etc.).

- The manufacturer’s instructions for use (MIFU) is not available for energy-emitting equipment (i.e. light treatment machine). Obtain the MIFU and provide this office with a copy.The MIFU must be kept in an accessible place for reference by a personal service worker at all times.
