      • Operator didn't submit the personal services notification to Alberta health services.This violation was corrected during the inspection, operator was prompted to submit the PSN form.
    • 03. Are facility-specific written procedures established to adequately describe safe and sanitary practices?
      • Facility didn't have the facility specific written procedures for skin cleansing and accidental cut and punctures.Print out of the written procedures was provided to the facility manager.It was corrected during inspection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • During the inspection it was observed that facility does not have test strips to measure the concentration of high-level disinfectant (HLD).Make sure that test strips are available to check the concentration of HLD on routine basis.Since Preempt CS20 was the disinfectant of choice by the business, ensure the appropriate test strips (AHP7) are acquired.
