      • Observation: The food premises currently does not have a valid health permit under the new ownership.
      • Corrective Action: Operator to work towards acquring a valid health permoit under the new ownership.
    • 212 - Operator has not provided acceptable written food handling procedures [s. 23]
      • Observation: An up-to-date food safety plan for the food premises has not been provided.(Public Health Significance) - Presence of an up-to-date food safety plan in the food premises aids in taking prompt corrective actions if proper food safety standards are not met.
      • Corrective Action: Ensure to provide an upto date food safety plan for a review.
    • 302 - Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Quaternary Ammounium Compound (QUAT) sanitizer solution in the three compartment sink was measured at 50 ppm. (Public Health Significance) - QUAT solution of atleast 200 ppm is required to effectively sanitize food handling equipment by manual dishwashing. Inadequately sanitized food handling equipment can cause contamination of food items and potentially food-borne illness.
      • Corrective Action: Operator was requested to prepare a fresh batch of the sanitizer solution at an appropriate concentration at the time of inspection.
