    • 18. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Non-Critical)?
      • There appears to be a problem with the ventilation system. I recommend a certified HVAC technician inspect to ensure the system is working as intended.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Facility requires a thorough cleaning throughout and in the hard to reach areas. Some areas pointed out during the inspection include: light switches, doors and handles (entry and exit where people push open the door), area around stand mixer, bins etc.The area that use to be the lounge needs better organization.There should be some sort of cleaning schedule. Perhaps a daily, and monthly schedule would work well.

      • - The sticky fly traps were present near the food prep and handling area. - After the conversation, the fly traps were removed and discarded in the garbage. Please ensure that no sticky fly traps are present in the food area. - Blue light lamps in the back area would be useful to reduce flies in the facility.

      • Premises requires a thorough cleaning i.e. shelving, toaster, switch plate covers etc. If there is old equipment that is no longer used or working then it should be removed from the premises i.e. in the dry storage area. Please send me pictures once corrected.
