      • Single-use brow brushes was being reused.-Please use the indicated tool for one client and discard immediately after use. Do not reuse equipment or tools labeled as single use or that cannot be cleaned/disinfected properly to prevent spread of infection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. High-level disinfectant, preempt CS20, was being reused for more than one day without its concentration monitored.-Please provide suitable test strip and ensure high-level disinfectant's concentration is monitored and its test result documented as appropriate.2. Alcohol used to disinfect reusable non-critical tools such as brow scissors and tweezers.-Please use low-level disinfectant such as Mr. Clean to ensure proper cleaning and disinfectant.

      • Porous and uncleanable equipment such as nail files and bluffers were not being discarded after use, used nail files and bluffers were seen onsite during the inspection.-Please do not reuse equipment such as nail files and bluffers to prevent spread of infection.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. The high-level disinfectant, preempt CS20, was being diluted with water.-Please do not dilute preempt CS20 with water, always follow manufacturer' s instruction in usage.Also, paste step-by-step cleaning procedure for CS20 at the reprocessing sink.2. The preempt CS20 used to disinfect reusable semi-critical equipment such as nail cuticle and scissors had expired since August 2021.-Please procure and use new preempt CS20 to ensure proper tools disinfection.
    • 27. Is the facility maintained in a visibly clean state and are environmental surfaces cleaned and disinfected properly?
      • Plastic cover used on the waxing procedure chair was being cleaned with only water with towel.Please clean and sanitize the indicated cover with low-level disinfectant such as Mr. Clean.
