    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • They were thawing meat in room temp. onsite. Corrected during the inspection. Meat packages were transferred to the fridge for proper thawing process. Proper thawing methods were discussed with the operator onsite.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The splashguard at the handwashing sink was broken. Please replace with a splashguard that is smooth, easy to clean, impervious to moisture and durable.

      • Bleach sanitizer was measured to be greater than 200ppm at the time of inspection. A new solution was diluted and measured to 100ppm.Please ensure that bleach sanitizer is diluted to 100ppm.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • A roll of paper towels was observed to be stored at the edge of the handwashing basin instead of in a paper towel dispenser. Please ensure that appropriate paper towels are stored in the paper towel dispenser to ensure sanitary drying of hands.

      • A water sample has yet to be processed for this season/year. The May 7, 2024 sample was reported to be rejected.Please ensure that a water sample is submitted to ensure safe food operation.
