      • Discussed required facility-specific written procedures.

      • Skin cleansers are required for the following services: waxing/threading, eyelash tinting. Obtain suitable skin cleansing products.

      • Nail files/buffers observed at the manicure tables were in a used condition. These items are single-use and must be discarded after each use.

      • Facility currently uses an intermediate level disinfectant, followed by a steam sterilizer that is not adequately monitored to prove successful sterilization.s

      • 1. A high-level disinfectant is required (i.e. PreEmpt S20, PreEmpt HLD5).2. Obtain proper indicator test strips. If using PreEmpt CS20, buy AHP7 indicator test strips. If using PreEmpt HLD5, buy AHP2 indicator test strips.3. Obtain a lid for the high-level disinfectant tray.4. Discard any expired disinfectants.5. Relabel the spray bottles at the pedicure stations with it's contents inside. If it's a disinfectant, label with disinfectant name, expiry date and how long surfaces must remain wet for. Keep original/bulk supply.

      • 1. There were unlabeled cosmetic products in various areas. Label all items/bottles/containers etc. with its contents throughout the facility and ensure original/bulk-supply containers are kept on-site.2. Dirty spoons/sticks were being left in cosmetic products which may contaminate the bulk supply.
