    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Observed several used, dirty cloths on the food surfaces in the kitchen.Correction:-Used, dirty cloths were placed in the bucket containing sanitizer solution.-Education provided to store cloths in the sanitizer bucket to prevent the growth of bacteria and eliminate cross-contamination.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Test strips for iodine sanitizer in the bar glasswasher was expired.Using expired iodine sanitizer test strips can give inaccurate readings, leading to chemical contamination and/or insufficient sanitizing.Correction:-Expired iodine test strips were replaced at the time of inspection.-Ensure all sanitizer test strips used in the facility are not expired.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Paper towel was not available at the bar area handwashing sink.Correction:-Paper towel was restocked during the inspection.-Ensure that the handwashing sink is supplied with soap, paper towels, and garbage receptacles for proper handwashing.

      • Scoops were observed to be stored inside containers containing food ingredients (fish batter and flour). Operator was instructed to remove the scoops. Please ensure scoops are placed outside of food ingredients to prevent contamination.
