- Pest droppings were observed in the area below the metal grate shelves the pet food sits on and is covered with rodent excrement and droppings.Ensure that area is cleaned of droppings with hantavirus precautions.Pest control measures were reviewed with manager.
- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- 1) Manager indicated that facility has a contract with pest control company. Please ensure that monthly pest control records are kept on site for future reference.2) Door leads to Feeding mill: Light visible underneath one of the double doors due to weatherstripping damage. Main entrance doors and staff exit door had light visible underneath as well and weather stripping's are in disrepair.Weatherstripping must be repaired/replaced to prevent entry of pests.
