- 1 insert and 1/3 of a box of raw eggs were observed in a cooler measuring 16C. The temperatures of the eggs were tested using a probe thermometer and read 13C (within the danger zone 4C - 60C).The operator promptly discarded the eggs.

- The raw egg cooler was tested using an infrared thermometer and the ambient temperature read 16C.The operator plugged the cooler back into the receptacle and allowed it to cool down. After retesting, the ambient temperature was measured at 4°C or lower. Please inform your employees and ensure the cooler is closely monitored to prevent it from being unplugged again.
