      • Observation(s): Upon initial review of the staff files during the inspection, criminal record check results had not yet been received from the Criminal Records Review Program in Victoria. However, the licensee contact later confirmed with Licensing that the CRC results for the manager and 3 other staff had been received and have been added to the files. *Resolved

    • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?
      • Observation(s): Staff were observed to be cutting sausages served for the children's lunch in circles but not length-wise to prevent them from being a choking hazard. Staff corrected this immediately once the hazard was explained to them by the licensing officer. Discussed having the daycare speak with kitchen chef to be aware of safe food preparation with the age of the children in mind.
