    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • Chlorine sanitizer was measured at 0 ppm at the time of inspection. The operator was advised to prepare a fresh sanitizer solution. A new solution was prepared during the inspection and measured at 100 ppm. Operator was reminded to routinely monitor sanitizer concentrations to ensure effective sanitation.
    • 06. Are appropriate food handling practices and plans in place to ensure that food is handled in a manner that makes it safe to eat?
      • Recent food safety records were not available for review. The most recent records provided were from April 2026. The operator was advised to ensure that all required food safety records are completed, maintained, and readily available for review upon request.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • It was demonstrated during the inspection that the operator lacked knowledge of proper dishwashing and sanitizing procedures. The operator stated that dishes were scraped, rinsed with sanitizer, placed through the dishwasher, and then dried using a wiping cloth after removal from the machine.Education was provided regarding the correct dishwashing process: wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry. The operator was advised that wiping cloths should not be used to dry clean and sanitized dishes, as this may result in recontamination. A document outlining proper dishwashing procedures was provided to the operator via email for reference.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • No sanitizer was available for the dishwasher machine at the time of inspection. A Lime-A-Way scale remover, detergent, and rinse aid were observed; however, no approved dishwasher sanitizer was present. The operator was advised to obtain an approved sanitizer for the dishwasher to ensure effective sanitization.In the interim, the operator was instructed to manually sanitize dishes using a Quat sanitizer. Education was provided on the proper preparation and testing of the sanitizer solution, including maintaining a concentration of 200 ppm for effective sanitization.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Chlorine test strips were observed to be expired (expiry date: January 2026) at the time of inspection. The operator was advised to obtain valid test strips to ensure sanitizer concentrations can be accurately monitored and verified.
