      • Total alkalinity measured 42ppm.Operator added Sodium Bicarbonate and Total Alkalinity measured 80ppm.

      • The flow rate of the whirlpool measured 80 gpm. To Achieve the minimum required turnover rate of 20 minutes, the whirlpool must operate at 105 gpm minimum. Operator to raise the flow rate of the whirlpool.

      • A floating weir for one of the whirlpool skimmers was not functioning properly. This was corrected once noted by operator.

      • The flow of the water was not being maximized through the skimmers.This was corrected by limiting the flow to the main drain to 10% and while leaving the skimmer valves fully opened.

      • Sand noted on the whirlpool basin floor reported to be from backwashing procedure as per operator. - Vacuum whirlpool basin to remove sand.

      • An update copy of the anti-entrapment plan needs to be submitted to AHS- EPH. Safety covers appear to have been replaced on August 26,2024.

      • The whirlpool skimmer drain was turned off in the mechanical room at the time of inspection. - Ensure to maximize the flow of the water through the skimming devices during recirculation. The operated turned on the flow of water at the skimmer drain.

      • The following submerged suction outlets were expired as per the anti-entrapment plan and have not been recently replaced as per operator: - H-MD1. WGX103213LV2. Installed June 1, 2015. Expired: Installed June 1, 2022.- H-MD2. WGX103213LV2. Installed June 1, 2015. Expired: Installed June 1, 2022.**Replace the submerged suction outlet covers as soon as possible due to expiry. Operator scheduled replacement for Monday, August 26th, 2024 and will close the pool during replacement. No damage, cracking, or screws missing to submerged suction outlets at the time of inspection. Anti-entrapment devices are critical pieces of equipment that must be ANSI/APSP-16 2011 compliant, installed according to manufacturer's specifications, maintained in good working order, be replaced before expiration, and follow all requirements set out in the Pool Standards, July 2014 (Amended January 2018); AR 204/2014 s 23.
