      • HPC count was 130 on the lab report. Clean and resample.
  2. Monitoring Inspection

    2 infractions

    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • Initial flow rate was observed to be 80 degrees Celsius. Sand filter is a TR100 filter medium surface area 4.91 sq.ft. Max flow rate for filter is 74 gpm. Operator reduced flow rate to 70 gpm.
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The flow of the water was not being maximized through the skimmers. This was corrected by limiting the flow to the main drain to 10% and while leaving the skimmer valves fully opened. The water surface was coming above the internal lip of the skimmers. This was adjusted by lowering the volume of the pool an inch.

Free chlorine was then measured at 3.18 ppm. - Operator reported they will consult pool maintenance services to assess and remedy alarm.
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • From previous visit: The filtration rate of the swimming pool was calculated at 16.29 gpm/ft. sq. - Ensure the filtration rate does not exceed the maximum rate of 15 gpm/ft. sq. Adjust the pump to ensure the flow rate of the swimming pool does not exceed 74 GPM to maintain a filtration rate of 15gpm/ft. sq. or less.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
